Speech-Language Therapy
Oral Function for Speech Sound Production
Our approach to speech sound disorders is unique!
We combine multiple specialized modalities like orofacial myofunctional therapy, tissue mobilization, and muscle-based oral function strategies to treat the underlying dysfunction and maximize progress.
We incorporate these evidence-based treatment strategies to address unintelligible speech, delayed speech acquisition, frontal and lateral lisps, and challenges with motor planning for sequencing sounds.
We pride ourselves on being able to remediate extended articulation errors (R and S sound distortions that persist after years of treatment), support motor planning for sound sequencing for children with apraxia of speech, and enhance the communication skills of those who are late to babble and say words.
